Peewee has been dreaming of a forever home for almost a year. He and brother Petey came from a high kill shelter in Georgia last fall. Peewee is the smaller of the two and the shy one of the pair. His foster mom nicknamed him Wee Man which seems to fit him. He's so used to life in his foster home that when he goes to adoption events, he's a little overwhelmed - tail tucked between his legs and sometimes barking at new things. He's just crying out for someone to understand he will need some extra patience and lots of love. He definitely has lots of love to share! Peewee plays well with the other dogs in his foster home and is usually rolling around on his back roughhousing with bigger and smaller dogs alike. He has not been exposed to children except briefly at adoption events and he hasn't met any cats. We think he'll do best in a home without children OR with teenage children who have previous dog experience. Peewee needs a home that is willing to invest the time in obedience training and can provide firm yet gentle guidance and consistency. He is crate trained and working on house training. Peewee has the cutest little underbite and frequently his lip gets hung up on one of his canine teeth giving him a little sneer which makes him look tough (and a little silly) when really hes a big baby looking for love! Please consider fostering or adopting this little mush! He will love you more than you can imagine!
